Inactivating processes

In Daymi, there is no functionality to delete active subprocesses (only templates can be deleted) to maintain a historical record of actions. However, if you have a process that is no longer in use, you can choose to inactivate it.

For instance, if you wish to inactivate the daily 'Check Internal System' subprocess, you can easily do so from the subprocess details page. After inactivation, you will notice that the subprocess will disappear from today's view. However, its historical data will remain unchanged if you go back on the calendar.

💡The inactivation functions differently for deadlines that have already passed, especially for weekly, monthly, and less frequent processes. If the deadline has already passed but is still visible on the dashboard, such as in the 'Overdue' section, inactivating it will not remove its visibility. Only the future subprocesses will be hidden and will no longer appear in the application.

What should you do if you have multiple overdue processes that have been inactivated and you don't want to have them on the dashboard? Simply mark them as 'done' and provide a comment explaining your actions for the benefit of your auditor.
