To make it easier to analyze the actual errors or incidents in a process and to track and process them more efficiently, we have introduced a new error reporting functionality. This feature will allow you to report errors quickly and easily, and ensure that everyone on your team is aware of them.

Using the 'Report Error' button

With this new error reporting feature, you can report errors for specific subprocesses and deadlines using the 'Report Error' button, which is included on each subprocess sidebar. Clicking this button will open an error reporting form that prompts you to provide essential details about the encountered error.

Let's say you are responsible for the 'Daily NAV Estimate' process and need to check prices. If you or one of your colleagues notices an error throughout the process, you can report it using this new feature.

💡 If you have noticed that you made an error for a deadline that occurred, for example, a week ago, you can use our calendar functionality to navigate back to the relevant date and find the necessary main process card.

Visualizing reported errors ❗

Once an error has been reported, it will be visualized with a red exclamation mark on the main process card. This makes it easy to identify which subprocesses have errors and need to be addressed.

Changing error status

At a later stage, you can go back to the subprocess and change the status of the error. You can mark it as resolved or rejected, which will indicate that the error is no longer applicable. This will help ensure that you have an accurate record of all the errors that have been reported, and the status of each one.

  • Rejected - no longer relevant or applicable

  • Open - ongoing and requires further investigation or review.

  • Resolved - successfully addressed or closed and no longer requires attention.

Errors list

You can also easily access the 'Errors' menu page on the left side menu sidebar to view a historical list of reported errors, sort by status or deadline, and get an overview of all open items.

Reports

The reports will include the number of errors reported, which can help you identify any trends or recurring issues that need to be addressed.
